Our mission has six important goals:

• Support the library in developing services and facilities for Oglethorpe County.
  
  

• Increase public awareness of and use of the library facilities.
  
  

• Support the library staff in providing high quality services and promoting literacy throughout Oglethorpe County.
  
  

• Encourage and receive gifts and bequests for the library.
  
  

• Aid in providing funds to meet special library needs.
  
  

• Promote and appreciation for books and the enjoyment of reading.
